Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic security compliance frameworks to combat illegal gold trading and smuggling.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with law enforcement and regulatory bodies for coordinated security compliance.

  • Provide strategic oversight for intelligence gathering and risk assessments related to security threats.

  • Formulate and enforce security compliance policies to safeguard the gold value chain.

  • Oversee security training programs and emergency response planning for compliance breaches.

  • Ensure effective monitoring of surveillance systems and reporting of suspicious activities.

Skills and Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Compliance, Risk Management, Business Administration or a related field.

  • Master’s degree in Law, Regulatory Compliance, Public Policy, Forensic Auditing preferred.

  • Minimum of twelve (12) years’ experience in compliance enforcement, regulatory oversight, or risk management, with at least four (4) years in a senior leadership role.

  • Ability to develop and drive comprehensive compliance strategies that ensure regulatory adherence and mitigate organisational risks.

  • Deep knowledge of national and international compliance standards, regulatory requirements, and risk management principles.

  • Expertise in regulatory compliance, AML, CTF, and due diligence, with proficiency in risk assessment and reporting systems.

  • Strong ability to interpret and apply evolving regulations, coupled with familiarity with forensic audits and investigative procedures.

Head of Unit, Field Operations

Reports To: Director, Compliance

Job Summary: Leads strategic field operations management, ensuring efficient execution and adherence to quality and safety standards. Focuses on optimising field processes and delivering high-quality assay results, enhancing operational excellence and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage field operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

  • Develop strategic field operation plans aligned with organisational and client needs.

  • Oversee field team deployment, resource allocation, and training for optimal performance.

  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and accurate data reporting of assay results.

  • Collaborate across departments to streamline operations and enhance client satisfaction.

  • Manage budgets and analyse operational performance to drive continuous improvement and cost effectiveness.

Skills and Qualification Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Geology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field.

  • Minimum of ten (10) years in field operations within mining, assaying, or related industries, with at least 4 years in a senior role.

Job Summary: Supports the Head of Field Operations in managing daily field operations, ensuring adherence to operational standards, and assisting in the implementation of field-testing strategies across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strategies to mitigate risks associated with illegal gold smuggling and trading, and other security threats.

  • Supervise and coordinate all aspects of security operations, including site inspections, patrol activities, and compliance monitoring.

  • Lead investigations into security breaches and suspicious activities, collaborating with law enforcement agencies.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with law enforcement agencies, industry stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed reports of security incidents, investigations, and taskforce activities.

Skills and Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Mining, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in field operations management, including experience in program implementation, team leadership, and technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-the-ground support in executing field operations.

  • Conduct field testing and ensure the accuracy of assay results.

  • Monitor and record field data, adhering to quality and safety standards.

  • Support the Principal Officer in managing field operations and coordinating logistics.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

Job Summary: Leads the Taskforce Unit, overseeing the enforcement of security protocols and coordination of field operations to prevent unauthorised gold trading and movement. Provides strategic direction on anti-smuggling efforts and collaborates with law enforcement to maintain the integrity of the gold value chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement taskforce strategies to address illegal gold trade and smuggling.

  • Supervise taskforce operations, including site inspections, patrols, and intelligence-led enforcement.

  • Liaise with security agencies and regulatory partners for coordinated interventions.

  • Oversee training, emergency preparedness, and compliance with enforcement procedures.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of taskforce activities and reporting systems.

Skills and Qualification Requirement:
