Job Summary:
The Director, Technical has strategic oversight of technical operations, including assaying, refining, minting, fabrication, hallmarking, gold tokenization, vault services, diamond operations, and licensing, regulations. Ensure high technical standards and compliance with international best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement robust technical policies, procedures, and operational frameworks to enhance efficiency, transparency, and security.
Drive strategic technical planning, implementing technological advancements, and optimising resource allocation to achieve organisational goals.
Direct and optimise all technical operations, establishing and maintaining high standards throughout the gold and diamond value chains.
Ensure precision, quality, and adherence to international best practices and regulatory requirements across all technical processes.
Oversee all technical licensing and regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to standards and effective liaison with regulatory bodies.

Skills and Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Mining Economics, Mineral Economics, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field.
Must be a member of a Professional Body (e.g., Ghana Institute of Engineers).
Minimum of twelve (12) years’ technical operations and licensing experience in a regulatory or mining environment, with at least five (5) years in a senior role.
Extensive experience in technical operations within the precious metals or related industry.
Strong understanding of assaying, refining, minting, fabrication, hallmarking, and vault services.
Knowledge of gold tokenization and diamond operations is highly beneficial.

Job Summary:
Lead the development and enforcement of licensing frameworks and regulatory compliance within the gold sector, ensuring all industry participants operate within legal and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and oversee the organisation’s licensing framework, including evaluation, issuance, and renewal of licenses for all gold sector participants.
Establish and enforce regulatory compliance mechanisms, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and industry best practices across the gold value chain.
Create and implement regulatory policies and enforcement protocols to combat illicit gold trade, promote responsible mining, and strengthen compliance monitoring.
Ensure all industry participants, including miners, aggregators, refiners, and exporters, operate within established legal and regulatory guidelines.

Skills and Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Public Policy, Law, or related field.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with processing and documentation of licensing applications, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
Guide applicants on regulatory requirements and procedures for obtaining a license.

Job Summary:
Support the Unit Head in managing assay operations, ensuring accurate gold purity determination, compliance with standards, and efficient laboratory processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the execution of assay procedures, ensuring accurate gold purity and composition analysis.
Conduct laboratory-based gold purity analyses using advanced testing methods, including fire assay, X-ray fluorescence (XRF), and spectrometry.
Support the Unit Head in providing advisory oversight to external aggregators and foundries.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Technical Director in formulating and executing strategies for refining, minting, fabrication, hallmarking, and gold tokenization, aligning all downstream processing activities with the organisation’s mandate to enhance local value addition and market competitiveness.
